
CAMERON MACAULAY
About
Cameron is a composer, sound designer and theatre maker based in Dublin.
He graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a BA(Hons) in music and from University of Edinburgh with an MSc in sound design. He has a strong interest in both music and theatre. On top of composition and sound design work, he has experience as a writer, director and actor.



Selected credits include The Saviour (Cork Midsummer Festival, Landmark Productions); Some Names Were Changed (Dublin Fringe, 15th Oak); Cleft (Galway International Arts Festival, Rough Magic); Bears in Space (59e59 Theaters New York, Soho Theatre London and Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Collapsing Horse); Gladys and The Gutter Stars (Dublin Fringe); The Water Orchard (Collapsing Horse); Before Monsters Were Made (15th Oak); Everything Between Us (Rough Magic) andWay To Heaven (Rough Magic SEEDS). Associate credits include Walls and Windows (Abbey Theatre) and The Glass Menagerie (Headlong).




Cameron recently finished the score to his first film, Rebecca's Boyfriend (Vah Vah films) which screened as part of IndieCork Film Festival.
He was selected as a composer and sound designer for the 2014/15 SEEDS programme, a development initiative for emerging theatre makers in Ireland. It is run by Rough Magic and funded by the Irish Arts Council.
